Well, we had our first "vacation" since we went on the road over two years ago. We spent "4 days & 3 nights in fabulous Las Vegas." We got a special deal from our timeshare condo if we agreed to listen to a high pressure sales pitch. We were able to say "NO" to their offer. Actually we had to say "NO" to 3 separate people, but we did not give in. We enjoyed our stay and actually managed to win a little money. The only problem is that we managed to lose more money than we won. We spent much more time walking "the Strip" than actually gambling, which is why we only lost a little money. Being our first visit, we had to check out every casino on the strip to see all the "glitz." We walked quite a few miles and took a bunch of pictures.
Kari and Josh met us there and took us to see the "Blue Men Review" as a belated Christmas gift. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. It had a lot more comedy than we expected. We would recommend it to anyone. We also were able to see the "Tournament of Kings" show at the Excalibur. That was a lot of fun also. Josh and I played in a Texas Hold-em tournament. We did not finish in the money, but we both did well. We both went "all in" with the best hand and getting outdrawn on the "river." Oh well.......
Vegas was fun, but 4 days was enough.

Hey, glad you enjoyed your time in Vegas. We have told you that you can have a good time without doing a lot of gambling. We also enjoy the Tournament of Kings, especially the meal. :-) Did you have a chance to get downtown?
